The European Union Agency for Asylum is currently recruiting a Project Assistant (FG III) to support administrative, financial, and project implementation activities within its International Cooperation Sector, including organising meetings, monitoring budgets, and assisting with EU-funded projects. This role is particularly suited to candidates with strong administrative and financial experience, and the selection process also highlights several advantageous requirements, namely: prior experience in a European institution, agency or international organisation; familiarity with the EU Financial Regulation or similar frameworks; and experience supporting project implementation, especially EU-funded projects. Interested applicants must submit their applications by 21 April 2026 at 12:00 (noon, Malta time).

👀 The European Commission is evaluating ACER — the EU agency based in Slovenia that oversees energy markets — to assess whether its powers and structure still make sense, which could signal future changes to how the agency operates and who it hires. The review will examine ACER's organizational performance and whether its mandate remains fit for purpose, meaning this could be a good moment to follow the agency closely if you're interested in working in EU energy regulation. Stakeholders including energy regulators, market participants, industry experts and civil society are invited to share views.
