The European Banking Authority is currently recruiting an AD14 - Executive Director (reference EBA-TA-02-2026), a senior leadership role responsible for the operational management of the Authority, including implementing its work programme and supporting governance activities. The position is based in Paris and is open to candidates with strong experience in financial supervision and regulation, with selection based on merit, skills, and leadership expertise. Among the advantageous requirements highlighted in the vacancy notice are: (1) extensive professional experience at senior level in financial regulation or supervision, (2) proven management and leadership experience in complex organizations, and (3) strong knowledge of EU institutions and decision-making processes. The application deadline is 18 May 2026 at 23:59 (Paris/Brussels time).

A word from our team

An investigation OLAF conducted into an unnamed EU agency over a procurement contract has been identified by POLITICO as eu-LISA. This agency is currently in the news as it manages the new EU border system (which has led to long delays at airports). We can only confirm any concerns as our team has become privy to several serious accusations about the working conditions at this agency. ☹️ We will keep you posted as new information becomes available!
