The European Banking Authority is inviting applications for the position of Market Risk Expert, offering the chance to contribute to EU-wide regulatory and supervisory policy in a dynamic, multicultural environment. A word from our team

📆 A new website called WhereIsMyMEP.eu, created by Alex Monéton, tracks European Parliament attendance by aggregating publicly available but hard-to-access data, making it easier for citizens to see which MEPs “show up” to vote. The site features a leaderboard displaying MEPs’ attendance rates, and while many MEPs have high attendance (over 400 record ≥90%), some attend very rarely — the lowest being only ~18%. Under European Parliament rules, those absent for at least half of plenary days may face financial penalties, but the EP notes that absences can be due to legitimate “concurrent activities” like committee or delegation meetings.
