The European Environment Agency (EEA) is seeking a Temporary Agent (AST 2) for a Human Resources Officer position (Ref EEA/AST/2025/9) based in Copenhagen. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support—managing employee lifecycles (onboarding, contract renewals, offboarding), maintaining systems and files, contributing to policy development, performing quality checks, and liaising with other EU institutions.

Applicants must hold post-secondary education (or secondary plus relevant experience), with at least three years of professional HR experience. Fluency in English (C1) and working knowledge of another EEA language (B2) are required. Proficiency in digital HR tools—and ideally experience with Sysper 2—is essential. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, discretion, and service orientation. Deadline for applications is 15 September 2025 (midnight Copenhagen time).
