• Women now make up 52.7 % of EU civil service applicants, up from 49.7 % in 2021, and account for 58.54 % of successful candidates — suggesting women aren’t just applying more, but also winning more roles.

• In many age brackets (especially 30–49), women dominate in applicant share, putting male candidates in a shrinking minority.

• Gender representation varies widely by country — for example, 82 % of Estonian applicants are women, while male-majority applicant pools persist in nations like Denmark, Portugal, and Slovenia.
